When you love your job, it never feels like work,\u201d he said on \u201cWeekend Update\u201d alongside Colin Jost, per Deadline. \u201cNo, I\u2019m just not in that much stuff this season. It\u2019s fine, I walk around, they don\u2019t really keep tabs on your whereabouts here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While speaking to<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.phoenix.org\/entertainer\/upfront\/the-greatest-thing-ever-michael-longfellow-says-snl-gig-made-him-numb\/article_118eaa56-dd04-11ef-9ceb-13c679e5a258.html\"> The Entertainer! Magazine<\/a> in January, Longfellow said he felt a myriad of emotions when he joined the show.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was so big,\u201d he said. \u201cThere was panic, dread, excitement, numbness. I thought, \u2018Shouldn\u2019t I high-five everyone in the area?\u2019 I didn\u2019t know how to feel, so I just sort of got ready for work.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut this has been the greatest thing ever,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Longfellow also named the stars that he enjoyed working with the most.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMartin Short is my favorite host ever,\u201d he said. \u201cIf I can just be like him down the line, that would be amazing. Jon Lovitz was a good host. I just wanted to say hi, and he talked to me for about 30 minutes about how to do the show, in his \u2018Lovitz\u2019 voice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDana Carvey. Dana will just talk \u2014 not even just about comedy,\u201d Longfellow continued. \u201cWe were talking about political stuff and I was asking him for financial advice.
