She accessorized with strappy heels and a gold clutch. Her long hair was worn down in a soft wave, and it blew in the Italian wind (along with her train!).<\/p>\n

Prior to the red carpet, George bowed out of a few appearances<\/a> at the Venice Film Festival, including the press conference earlier in the day on Aug. 28.<\/p>\nAt the press conference, Noah Baumbach, director of Jay Kelly, addressed reporters as to why the actor was not in attendance, after the moderator said he wouldn’t be there.<\/p>\n
“As you may know, George Clooney is not gonna be here because he has a bad sinus infection. We think he should be on the red carpet tonight, but he is very sorry he cannot be with us,” the moderator said, to which Baumbach, 55, then quipped, “Even movie stars get sick.”<\/p>\n
Earlier this week, George and Amal were photographed arriving in Venice by boat<\/a> in effortlessly chic outfits.
