Kristin Cavallari <\/b>is on the receiving end of criticism after revealing that her children, 11-year-old son Jaxon and 9-year-old daughter Saylor, co-sleep with her.<\/p>\n

During Tuesday\u2019s episode of her Let\u2019s Be Honest<\/em> podcast<\/a>, the Very Cavallari<\/em> star, 38, opened up about her unconventional sleeping arrangement, explaining that her youngest two children spend \u201cone night a week\u201d in her bedroom now that the school year has started.<\/p>\n

\u201cThey were in my bed every other night for a while,\u201d Cavallari admitted, noting that she\u2019s had to scale back the frequency since classes resumed.<\/p>\n

Despite enjoying their company, the mother of three \u2014 who also shares son Camden, now 13, with ex-husband Jay Cutler<\/strong> \u2014 celebrated \u201cfinally having time\u201d for herself.<\/p>\n

The arrangement isn\u2019t without its challenges. Cavallari describes how difficult it is to wake up earlier and get ready for the day without also waking her snoozing brood.<\/p>\n

The Laguna Beach<\/em> alum explained that the co-sleeping habit began when Jaxon was just a toddler. At age 1, he discovered he could climb out of his crib and join his mother in bed, leading to \u201cevery single night for four years\u201d of shared sleeping.<\/p>\n

Cavallari admitted she \u201cdid and tried everything\u201d to get him to sleep independently, but nothing worked until he eventually moved into a room with his older brother Camden.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s always had FOMO,\u201d Cavallari joked.<\/p>\n

The revelation quickly sparked a heated debate on social media. \u201cMa\u2019am co sleeping isn\u2019t letting them be little,\u201d one Reddit user<\/a> wrote. \u201cWe need to establish boundaries.\u201d<\/p>\n

Another wrote, \u201cGetting into the habit of co-sleeping can limit social opportunities for children and make it difficult if not impossible to co-parent if the other parent is not on board with sharing a bed.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, others supported Cavallari\u2019s parenting decision, with one Reddit user writing: \u201cI don\u2019t care if that\u2019s what she likes to do. I personally don\u2019t like to co-sleep because my children move around too much and I\u2019d never get any solid sleep, and I barely get any as it is right now lol.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
