Prince Harry<\/strong> was born Henry Charles Albert David, but the former actress explained, \u201cIt\u2019s a dukedom.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meghan and Harry previously revealed<\/a> that despite giving their children the last name Mountbatten-Windsor \u2014 in honor of their paternal grandparents \u2014 at birth, they later decided to use the last name \u201cSussex\u201d for Archie and Lilibet.<\/p>\n

Following the death of the children\u2019s great-grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II<\/strong>, their grandfather King Charles III<\/strong> ascended the British throne. At that time, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4, were given the titles Prince and Princess of Sussex.<\/p>\n

Similarly, Prince Harry and brother Prince William<\/strong> were previously referred to as Harry Wales and William Wales, due to their parents Charles, 76, and the late Princess Diana<\/strong> being titled the Prince and Princess of Wales.<\/p>\n
