Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> made his first public appearance since getting engaged to Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> for a special night at Arrowhead Stadium.<\/p>\n

Travis, 35, and his brother Jason<\/strong><\/a>, 37, were in attendance as the NFL stars\u2019 alma mater, the University of Cincinnati, played the Nebraska Cornhuskers at the Kansas City stadium on Thursday, August 28.<\/p>\n

While Swift did not appear to attend the event alongside the Kelce brothers, the pop star\u2019s engagement to Travis wasn\u2019t far from many people\u2019s minds, including sports reporter Matt Foster,<\/strong> who referred to Jason as Travis\u2019 \u201cfuture best man.\u201d<\/p>\n

Posting via X<\/a> on Thursday,\u00a0 the Kansas City\u2019s KSHB 41 News reporter shared footage of the brothers at the game, captioning it, \u201cTravis Kelce & his future best man Jason Kelce are here to support Cincinnati. #Chiefs #ChiefsKingdom

In the footage, Travis and Jason Kelce looked to be in good spirits as they chatted by the sidelines at the Kansas City Chiefs\u2019 hometown stadium.<\/p>\n

According to USA Today<\/em><\/a>, the Bearcats and the Cornhuskers were originally supposed to start the season in Cincinnati before settling on Arrowhead Stadium as a neutral site. (Indianapolis\u2019 Lucas Oil Stadium was also considered to host Thursday\u2019s game, but negotiations fell through.)<\/p>\n

In December 2024, Cincinnati Bearcats athletic director John Cunningham<\/strong> promoted the shift to Arrowhead Stadium as an \u201cincredible chance to showcase Bearcats football in one of the NFL\u2019s most iconic venues.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tTravis Kelce\u2019s alma mater is hopeful that the NFL star\u2019s engagement to Taylor Swift will make her a Cincinnati Bearcats fan. The official Instagram account for the University of Cincinnati\u2019s football team posted a photo of a fan holding up a sign that read, \u201cTaylor Swift Dates Bearcats\u201d on Tuesday, August 26. \u201cHe\u2019s gonna need [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThis game is a unique opportunity that not only significantly benefits the program financially but also puts the Bearcats in the national spotlight,\u201d the coach went on<\/a>. \u201cThis matchup reflects our commitment to thinking big and maximizing possibilities for our program in the ever-changing college athletics landscape.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Travis hinted he\u2019d be watching the Bearcats in person via his Instagram Story only a few hours before game time on Thursday.<\/p>\n

\u201cLFG cats,\u201d the NFL star wrote. \u201cArrowheads [sic] gonna be rockin!! Take over KC baby!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Thursday\u2019s homecoming game came two days after Travis and Swift officially announced their engagement<\/a>. On Tuesday, August 26, the couple shared gorgeous photos of Travis popping the question with an old mine brilliant cut diamond ring<\/a> designed by Kindred Lubeck<\/strong> at Artifex Fine Jewelry.<\/p>\n

Alongside images of Travis and Swift lovingly embracing each other, they wrote a tongue-in-cheek engagement announcement: \u201cYour English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married.\u201d<\/p>\n

They have since received congratulations<\/a> from Travis\u2019 Chiefs teammate Patrick Mahomes<\/strong> and Swift\u2019s BFF Selena Gomez<\/strong> as well as Swift\u2019s former boyfriend Taylor Lautner<\/strong>. Even President Donald Trump<\/strong><\/a> weighed in to wish the happy couple \u201ca lot of luck\u201d with this new phase of their relationship.<\/p>\n
