New details have emerged regarding Dylan Walsh\u2019s startling car crash earlier this month.<\/p>\n
The \u201cNip\/Tuck\u201d star, 61, reportedly suffered a stroke shortly before the accident in Rumson, NJ, on Aug. 17, his rep told TMZ<\/a> on Wednesday.<\/p>\n Walsh\u2019s rep also informed the outlet that even though the \u201cSuperman & Lois\u201d actor had been drinking before getting behind the wheel of his 2022 Ford Explorer, his blood alcohol content (BAC) was allegedly found to be below the legal limit. TMZ<\/p>\n As for why Walsh appeared \u201cvery red\u201d and \u201cvery confused\u201d when talking to police after the crash, his rep claimed it was because the \u201cUnforgettable\u201d star and his family had spent the day at the beach.<\/p>\n The Post has reached out to Walsh\u2019s rep for comment.<\/p>\n The news that Walsh and his loved ones were involved in a car accident<\/a> first broke last week after the Rumson Police Department told TMZ that the actor had smashed his vehicle into two utility poles.<\/p>\n Walsh\u2019s SUV was reportedly swerved into the opposite lane and slammed into one utility pole before colliding with another. TMZ<\/p>\n The actor, his wife, Leslie Bourque, their children Hudson, 12, and Amelie, 13, and one additional passenger were said to be in the car during the crash. TMZ<\/p>\n Walsh\u2019s SUV was reportedly heading northbound around 5 p.m. local time when it swerved into the opposite lane and slammed into one utility pole before colliding with another.<\/p>\n Law enforcement confirmed that two of the five individuals in the vehicle at the time of the crash were transported to Riverview Medical Center to get checked out.<\/p>\n Walsh\u2019s rep later addressed the incident and said that everyone involved in the scary collision was recovering.<\/p>\n Walsh at the NYC premiere of \u201cStillwater\u201d on July 26, 2021. He was 56.<\/p>\n The pair starred in the plastic surgery drama for six seasons from 2003 to 2010, and Walsh played Dr. Sean McNamara opposite McMahon\u2019s Dr. Christian Troy.<\/p>\n<\/span><\/div>\n
