\n\tA new bombshell enters the villa! Elephant Man<\/a> took a moment on Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Caribbean Music Awards red-carpet livestream to serenade Love Island<\/a> USA<\/em> star Chelley Bissainthe with his latest hit \u201cPretty Baby.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tChelley co-hosted Billboard<\/em>\u2018s live pre-show (which streamed on the Billboard News YouTube page<\/a> and the Billboard Hip-Hop\/R&B X page<\/a>) alongside Billboard<\/em> staff writer Kyle Denis, and when the Jamaican legend stopped by, the duo asked if he would sing a little of his Connie Francis<\/a>-interpolating track.<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cWell, you know, because she\u2019s so beautiful, I just gotta say\u2026\u201d Elephant Man said as he turned to serenade Bissainthe, lamenting the fact that he didn\u2019t have a rose to offer her. The dancehall<\/a> star then performed a (heavily edited) version of his raunchy track, singing to Chelley: \u201cMy pretty, pretty baby\/ This ain\u2019t no maybe\/ Whenever you\u2019re lonely, girl you can phone me\/ My pretty, pretty baby, have me runnin\u2019 back to you-ooh-ooh.\u201d He then notably changed his lyric \u201cwe can f\u2014 for hours next to the flowers\u201d to \u201cwe can talk<\/em> for hours next to the flowers\u201d \u2014 this was a live broadcast, after all.<\/p>\n \n\tElephant Man\u2019s \u201cPretty Baby\u201d<\/a> dropped last month and takes many lyrical liberties compared to the late Francis\u2019 \u201cPretty Little Baby,\u201d which went viral this year \u2014 more than six decades after its 1962 release \u2014 thanks to its popularity on TikTok.<\/p>\n \n\tAfter spending her summer in Fiji as part of the Love Island USA<\/em> cast, Chelley left the villa paired up with Ace Green, and the couple are still together more than a month later (though Green was back home in Los Angeles on Thursday night while Bissainthe hosted the Billboard<\/em> livestream in New York). The Haitian-American reality star is a vocal fan of dancehall music and jumped at the chance to co-host Billboard<\/em>\u2018s Caribbean Music Awards red-carpet show, telling Denis that she\u2019s been introducing her villa bestie Olandria to her favorite island music too.<\/p>\n \n\tYou can rewatch the almost three-hour livestream below, or watch Elephant Man serenade Chelley in the video above.
