Welcome to Patch’s latest weekly roundup of highlight-worthy events across the city and surrounding areas. We’ve compiled them into one, easy-to-follow list, for your weekend planning.<\/p>\n

Already underway, the FM Championship has brought a who’s-who of the world\u2019s best golfers, and one of the strongest fields of the LPGA Tour season, to Massachusetts to compete for a $4.1 million purse, the largest purse on the LPGA Tour outside of the majors and tour championship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The 2025 FM Championship field includes 70 LPGA Tour winners, led by 2024 FM winner Haeran Ryu and 2024 FM runner-up Jin Young Ko, who has 15 LPGA Tour victories on her resume. Those 70 winners include all five major champions from 2025, as well as 20 of the year\u2019s record-setting 22 different champions.<\/p>\n

Music festivals are also on the docket this weekend, with the beloved Club Passim-hosted campfire. Festival going through the weekend, along with the Boston Jazz Festival and AfroCity Music Festival.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Boston’s Institute of Contemporary Art will also host free Labor Day admission on Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
