Rachel Sennott\u2019s upcoming HBO comedy series has set its official title: \u201cI Love LA.\u201d The series will premiere on Nov. 2, with episodes dropping weekly until the finale on Dec. 21.<\/p>\n
The news was announced alongside a promotional image of Sennott undergoing laser hair removal while wearing a shirt and underwear that both boast the new title, plus first look images from episodes of the show.<\/p>\n
More from Variety<\/strong><\/p>\n Details surrounding the plot of \u201cI Love LA\u201d still remain sparing, with a logline that simply reads, \u201cAn ambitious friend group navigates life and love in LA.\u201d<\/p>\n Sennott, who created and executive produces the series, stars as Maia. The cast also includes Jordan Firstman as Charlie, Josh Hutcherson as Dylan, Odessa A\u2019zion as Tallulah and True Whitaker as Alani, with guest stars including Leighton Meester, Moses Ingram, Lauren Holt, Elijah Wood, Quenlin Blackwell, Josh Brener, Tim Baltz, Froy Gutierrez and Colin Woodell.<\/p>\n Along with Sennott, \u201cI Love LA\u201d is executive produced by Emma Barrie, Aida Rodgers, Max Silvestri and Lorene Scafaria. Sennott and Scafaria also serve as directors alongside Bill Benz and Kevin Bray.<\/p>\n \u201cI Love LA\u201d is the Sennott\u2019s first credit as a creator. She is best known for executive producing and starring in the Emma Seligman-directed films \u201cShiva Baby\u201d (2020) and \u201cBottoms\u201d (2023), serving as co-writer on the latter.
