New Madame Web<\/a><\/strong> photos showcasing Sydney Sweeney<\/a>\u2019s Spider-Woman costume have been revealed.<\/p>\n

Marvel<\/a> and Sony Pictures<\/a>\u2019 Madame Web was released in United States theaters in February 2024. Directed by S. J. Clarkson, the Sony\u2019s Spider-Man Universe<\/a> flick stars Dakota Johnson<\/a> as the titular character, Sweeney as Julia Cornwall, Isabela Merced<\/a> as Anya Coraz\u00f3n, and Celeste O\u2019Connor<\/a> as Mattie Franklin.<\/p>\n

Who do we see in the Madame Web photos?<\/h2>\n

Sweeney, Merced, and O\u2019Connor only very briefly don their superhero costumes during Madame Web, a film that was not received well by fans or critics; however, @NebsGoodTakes recently posted new images<\/a> showing off some unseen looks of the Spider-Women outfits. That post has since been deleted.<\/p>\n

Now, however, @variablelace shared<\/a> a handful of Madame Web photos that better show off the costumes. View them below:<\/p>\n

The official synopsis for the movie reads, \u201cIn a switch from the typical genre,\u00a0Madame Web\u00a0tells the standalone origin story of one of Marvel Publishing\u2019s most enigmatic heroines. The suspense-driven thriller stars Dakota Johnson as Cassandra Webb, a paramedic in Manhattan who develops the power to see the future\u2026 and realizes she can use that insight to change it. Forced to confront revelations about her past, she forges a relationship with three young women bound for powerful destinies\u2026if they can all survive a deadly present.\u201d<\/p>\n

Madame Web was considered to be a box-office failure, as the movie only made around $100.5 million globally. It also won three Golden Raspberry Awards, including Worst Picture, Worst Actress, and Worst Screenplay.<\/p>\n

As of now, there don\u2019t appear to be any new Sony\u2019s Spider-Man Universe movies that are in development. There is a television show, Spider-Noir, coming at some point that stars Nicolas Cage and Lamorne Morris, though a premiere date has not yet been announced.<\/p>\n
