The grand prize is known as the \u00c9toile d&#8217;Or.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Bong, 55, is known for such films as <i>The Host<\/i>, <i>Snowpiercer <\/i>and <i>Okja<\/i>. His 2019 feature, <i>Parasite<\/i>, won three Oscars, including Best Picture, and was awarded the Palm d&#8217;Or at the Cannes Film Festival that year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;For many years, Marrakech has been a champion of fresh, beautiful films. I&#8217;m delighted and honored to be part of that tradition.
