Blake Lively<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s team is responding to Megyn Kelly<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s claim that the actress sent her a subpoena amid her ongoing legal battle with Justin Baldoni<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cAt no point in this litigation has Ms. Lively served a subpoena on Megyn Kelly,\u201d a spokesperson for Lively, 38, told Us Weekly<\/em> in a statement on Friday, August 29, noting, \u201cMs. Lively is continuing to pursue discovery<\/a> in order to prove her case that Justin Baldoni, Jed Wallace, Melissa Nathan and the Wayfarer Parties\u2019 retaliated against her for speaking up against the harassment she and others experienced on set, as alleged in her complaint.\u201d<\/p>\n

The spokesperson pointed out, \u201cSeeking evidence<\/a> through discovery is a normal part of the litigation process.\u201d<\/p>\n

Us Weekly<\/em> has reached out to Kelly\u2019s rep for comment.<\/p>\n

Kelly, for her part, alleged on the Thursday, August 28, episode of her SiriusXM podcast \u201cThe Megyn Kelly Show<\/a>\u201d that she was \u201ctargeted\u201d by a subpoena issued by the actress\u2019 attorneys.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe actually tried to get the confidential and proprietary materials my team and I used for any and all stories about her, because Blake Lively was unable to fathom that yours truly had developed a genuine revulsion<\/a> toward her on my own,\u201d Kelly, 54, alleged during the podcast, calling Lively a \u201cterrible\u201d person throughout the broadcast.<\/p>\n

The former Fox News host explained that she shares lawyer Bryan Freedman<\/strong> with Baldoni, 41. Kelly said that she believes that connection is what caused Lively\u2019s team to think she \u201cmust have been ensnared in Baldoni\u2019s alleged ongoing smear campaign against her.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tBlake Lively is requesting a \u201cprotective order\u201d against Justin Baldoni\u2019s legal team over their \u201ccontinuing demands\u201d for her communications with Taylor Swift, Us Weekly can confirm. Lively, 37, submitted a letter to judge Lewis J. Liman on Friday, June 13, and viewed by Us, claiming that Baldoni\u2019s Wayfarer Parties has \u201cpursued\u201d her communications with Swift, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kelly proceeded to call Lively \u201cnarcissistic\u201d telling her listeners that Lively \u201cactually thinks I needed to get paid by Baldoni\u2019s team to say negative things about her. News flash, Blake: I came to those conclusions totally organically.\u201d<\/p>\n

She quipped, \u201cIt was you \u2014 it was all you who made me unable to stand you. No man had anything to do with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kelly\u2019s comments came after Lively filed a lawsuit in December 2024 against her It Ends With Us<\/em> costar<\/a> and director Baldoni. She accused Baldoni of sexual harassment, creating a hostile work environment and orchestrating a smear campaign against her<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a countersuit against Lively, her husband, Ryan Reynolds<\/strong>, and publicist Leslie Sloane<\/strong>. He accused the trio of extortion and defamation, which they denied<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A judge dismissed Baldoni\u2019s countersuit<\/a> in June. However, Lively\u2019s initial lawsuit against the actor is set to go to trial in March 2026.<\/p>\n

On Monday, August 11, Lively\u2019s team filed a heavily redacted portion of Lively\u2019s deposition transcript. As Us previously reported, the Gossip Girl [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While Lively\u2019s team denied sending a subpoena to Kelly in preparation for the trial, Deadline<\/em><\/a> reported on Thursday that they did subpoena Red Seat Ventures. That company has provided \u201csales support, production, distribution and marketing branding and sales services for content creators like Kelly,\u201d according to the outlet.<\/p>\n

Kelly, for her part, has been vocal about her dislike of Lively, including the issue she had with the Gossip Girl<\/em> alim being recognized on the TIME<\/em>100 list of influential individuals earlier this year amid her legal battle with Baldoni.<\/p>\n
