On Sunday, September 7 at 1:30 p.m., the world-famous Laugh Factory comedy club in Los Angeles will roll out the red carpet for an extraordinary<\/em> afternoon of humor, inspiration and celebration in support of Autism In Entertainment <\/strong>(autisminentertainment.org<\/a>). The AIE Workgroup will present a an eclectic fundraiser program of stand-up comedians alongside live musical and improv performances, plus a special documentary short film premiere.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere will be neurodivergent individuals involved in every aspect of this production,\u201d said AIE Founder & Workgroup Chari Judi Uttal. \u201cWe practice what we preach! Employment is our main goal, and it is a pleasure to watch our members shine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Headlining the comedy showcase are stand-up talents Willie Hunter<\/strong>, Josh Meyrowitz<\/strong>, Nic Novicki<\/strong>, Alice Payne<\/strong>\u00a0and Jeremiah Watkins<\/strong> \u00a0as well as reality show fan-favorite Dani Bowman<\/strong> \u2014 known for her three-plus season series-regular status on Netflix\u2019s Emmy Award-winning Love on the Spectrum<\/em>\u00a0and acclaimed work as an animator with her own studio\/school Danimation<\/strong> (an official AIE educational partner) \u2014 reprising her recent Laugh Factory \u201890s animation trivia spectacular.<\/p>\n

The event also marks the world premiere of Extraordinary Character<\/strong><\/em>, a mini-documentary directed by Alex Astrella. The film highlights powerful stories from neurodivergent individuals and spotlights their incredible talents and paths to achievement.<\/p>\n

Staged acts from talented trainees of AIE Educational Partners Jazz Hands for Autism<\/strong>, The Miracle Project<\/strong>, Performing Arts Studio West<\/strong>, Spectrum Laboratory<\/strong> and Yes I Can Unity Through Music & Education<\/strong> are sure to be unforgettable. Attendees can look forward to surprise activations to add to the night\u2019s excitement.<\/p>\n
