On the night of the album\u2019s release, she dropped her second single, \u201cTears.\u201d Unlike the countrified lead single \u201cManchild,\u201d \u201cTears\u201d is fueled by lustful disco. The Bee Gees come to mind as Carpenter coos, \u201cI get wet at the thought of you,\u201d fantasizing about the object of her affection. She\u2019s never shied away from expressing her frank sexuality, and this album is no different.<\/p>\n Carpenter\u2019s healthy libido precedes her.
