Oscar-winning film star Denzel Washington<\/a> recently shared a sentiment that shocked many fans.<\/p>\n The iconic actor revealed in a GQ interview alongside that he no longer watches movies.<\/p>\n In a recent GQ interview alongside filmmaker Spike Lee<\/a> and rapper A$AP Rocky<\/a>, the \u201cTraining Day\u201d star said that he is \u201ctired of movies.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t watch movies, man. I really don\u2019t,\u201d Washington told the rapper after he inquired of Washington\u2019s favorite film shots from Lee.<\/p>\n Washington and Rocky, born Rakim Mayers, star in Lee\u2019s new film \u201cHighest 2 Lowest<\/a>.” <\/i>The film debuted in select theaters Aug. 15 and will be available to stream on Apple TV+ starting Sept. 5.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m just being honest with you! I don\u2019t watch movies, man! I don\u2019t go to the movies. I don\u2019t watch movies,\u201d Washington continued.<\/p>\n Rocky, 36, then asked the 70-year-old actor if he fell that way because he makes movies.<\/p>\n \u201cProbably. You know, I\u2019m tired of movies,\u201d Washington said.<\/p>\n Washington, who has starred in over 50 films, is a two-time Oscar Award winner and regarded as one of the greatest actors of all-time.<\/p>\n \u201cHighest 2 Lowest\u201d is the actor\u2019s fifth collaboration with Spike Lee since their first, \u201cMo\u2019 Better Blues\u201d came in 1990.
