How the Qatari royals make use of a gold-plated escalator<\/h2>\n

There\u2019s something to be said for making an entrance.<\/p>\n

A video has been shared on X by user Fahad Naim, in which the Qatari royals are seen descending a gold-plated escalator to exit their private jet.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s how Qatari royals disembark from an aircraft.. I\u2019ve never seen even a president receive such treatment,\u201d Naim commented.<\/p>\n

He went on to say: <\/p>\n

\u201cIn all my time in aviation, I\u2019ve never seen anything like this before.\u201d<\/p>\n

It certainly does speak to an unimaginable level of wealth and grandeur, not even having to use your legs after jetting around.<\/p>\n

The plane in question is provided by Qatar Amiri Flight, an airline known for its super luxurious planes.<\/p>\n

But let\u2019s face it, the gold-plated escalator is the real stand-out star in this story.<\/p>\n

By way of comparison, US presidents traveling aboard Air Force One usually board and deplane using a mobile stair truck.<\/p>\n

There\u2019s certainly nothing wrong with this approach, as it\u2019s reliable and sturdy.<\/p>\n

But it doesn\u2019t quite have the extravagance of the Qatari royals\u2019 exit.<\/p>\n

However, that might be the point.<\/p>\n

Living in the lap of luxury in the Persian Gulf<\/h2>\n

It\u2019s not just gold-plated escalators that the royal family of Qatar enjoys.<\/p>\n

You may recall that they recently gifted a $400 million Boeing 747 to the USA<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Well, that wasn\u2019t even the most expensive gift they\u2019ve ever given<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In fact, parting ways with that 747 didn\u2019t even make a particularly large dent in their plane collection, as they still have more jets than most small airlines.<\/a><\/p>\n
