Well, mostly.<\/p>\nIn an exclusive interview with PEOPLE, the actor, 52, opens up about his Minnesota home<\/a> \u2014 which he refers to as his\u00a0\u201cdoomsday cabin\u201d<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 and how it would stand up, should an end-of-the-world situation ever occur.<\/p>\n“Well, I have enough,” Duhamel, who has partnered with\u00a0CarGurus<\/a>\u00a0for the company’s new video series,\u00a0The Big Deal Show<\/em><\/a>, says with a laugh. “Not 100%. Probably 70%.”<\/p>\nAccording to the father of two<\/a>, he knows there are things he still needs to improve on to make living in the cabin fully self-sufficient \u2014 whether for a normal way of life or for riding out an armageddon.<\/p>\n“I could be a better hunter, I could be a better fisherman. I could stockpile a little more food supply,” he admits.<\/p>\n

Duhamel bought an empty half-parcel of land in the North Star State \u2014 about an hour-and-a-half drive away from Fargo, N.D.\u00a0\u2014 more than a decade ago.<\/p>\n
After slowly building a rustic cabin there himself, the actor later expanded the space with more land in the years to follow. The off-grid lakeside property didn’t have electricity, running water or other amenities for a long time.<\/p>\n
