Manuel Turizo\u2019s<\/a> 201 world tour made its way to Miami on Friday (Aug. 29) after making pit stops in Mexico, Chile, Costa Rica and Argentina first.<\/p>\n The Colombian artist opened his one-hour and 30-minute show with three of his popular collaborations: \u201cMala Costumbre,\u201d \u201cLos Cachos\u201d and \u201cTe Quemastes,\u201d before greeting his fans at the Kaseya Center.<\/p>\n More from Billboard<\/strong><\/p>\n He shined wearing an edgy suit with mixed metals, an open blazer that showed off his perfectly toned and tanned body, and a baseball cap with the number 201, honoring the trek\u2019s name. He was also joined by a group of eight female and male dancers, and a group of musicians including his brother Julian Turizo.<\/p>\n Notably, the stage reflected what was his childhood apartment in Monter\u00eda, Colombia, divided into three sections: the bedroom, the living room, and the balcony.<\/p>\n \u201cI was thinking about how to connect Manuel Turizo as a performer with where he comes from and where all these inspirations or all these stories a person lives originate,\u201d he previously said<\/a> to Billboard<\/em> of his tour\u2019s concept. \u201cAll of that happens in my house. In [apartment] 201 there were heartbreaks, there were loves, drunken parties with friends, with family \u2014 all the stories are there. All the songs are born there, all the ideas are born there.\u201d<\/p>\n Evidently, that\u2019s what he portrayed at the show \u2014 a fun get together with friends.<\/p>\n He continued with the dance-ready bangers and the romantic ballads, including some of his No. 1 Billboard<\/em> hits such as \u201cLa Nota,\u201d \u201cVaina Loca,\u201d \u201cCopa Vacia,\u201d \u201cVagabundo,\u201d \u201cLa Bachata\u201d and \u201cEn Privado.\u201d<\/p>\n At one point, he performed his norte\u00f1o-tinged tunes \u201cUna Cerveza\u201d and \u201cLunes a Lunes,\u201d dedicating the small set to his Mexican fans. \u201cI come from Colombia,\u201d he said at the show. \u201cThe first country that played my music, internationally, was Mexico.
