FLOYA<\/strong> have released a brand new single!<\/p>\n Titled In Fiction<\/strong>, the new track is the band\u2019s second post-album single, following February\u2019s Cloud9<\/strong><\/a> and last year\u2019s\u00a0debut record Yume<\/strong><\/a> and, for the first time in their career, features guest appearances from AIRPORTS<\/strong> and Grumble Bee<\/strong> (Jack<\/strong> Bennett<\/strong> of LONELY THE BRAVE<\/strong>).<\/p>\n Speaking about the collaboration, AIRPORTS<\/strong> says, \u201cwhen I first heard FLOYA<\/strong>\u2019s music I was like, \u2018WTF THIS IS SO BEAUTIFUL\u2019 \u2013 I instantly became a fan. Little did I know, Phil<\/strong> and Marv<\/strong> had also discovered me. When Phil<\/strong> reached out, we realized we saw eye to eye creatively. We met up in Germany and began working on In<\/strong> Fiction<\/strong>. Both FLOYA<\/strong> and I share this love for electronic music while being rooted in rock. Our projects try to bridge that gap \u2013 it\u2019s cool to work with some other \u2018black sheep\u2019 of the genre!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Jack Bennett (Grumble Bee)<\/strong> adds, \u201cwhen Phil<\/strong> messaged me, I honestly thought it was a joke! Being part of In<\/strong> Fiction<\/strong> was a blast \u2013 it was outside my usual work in LTB<\/strong> or my solo music and I loved the challenge. The songwriting showcases everyone\u2019s individuality in a really compelling way.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Speaking about the concept behind the track, frontman Phil Bayer<\/strong> explains, \u201cI imagined someone waking from a dream so vivid, they believed it was their real life. Imagine living an entire lifetime, only to wake up in a house you barely recognise, surrounded by people you\u2019ve never met \u2013 and all your loved ones gone, because they never truly existed.
