MARK Labbett might be known as the fearsome Beast on The Chase – but Celebs Go Dating fans will soon see his softer side when he falls for a woman on the show.<\/p>\n

The champion quizzer, 60, was a late arrival on the E4<\/span> programme, but he\u2019s doing his best to make up for lost time by throwing himself into dates with members of the public.<\/p>\n

He’s made a few blunders on the way, like drinking from a candle<\/span>Credit: E4<\/span><\/p>\n

And though he\u2019s had a questionable start – snoozing on one and falling straight into the friend zone – sparks will soon fly.<\/p>\n

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, the show\u2019s sexpert Dr Tara Suwinyattichaiporn <\/a>says the Beast will be \u201ctamed\u201d.<\/p>\n

Revealing why he\u2019s the show\u2019s ultimate surprise package, she says: \u201cHe’s supposed to be this intimidating guy on his other show and they will see him opening up more, they will see him dating<\/span> in a more active and romantic way.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou’ll see quite a big transformation,\u201d she explains. \u201cI think it’s very lovely to see a representation of an older man going through dating and becoming a little bit sweeter and softer and enjoying the romantic side of dating.\u201d<\/p>\n

Mark, whose last relationship with TV presenter Hayley Palmer, 42,<\/a> came to an end in May last year, isn\u2019t the only celeb to find a serious connection.<\/p>\n

Kerry Katona<\/a>, 44, is in a relationship with personal trainer Paolo Margaglione, 33, after meeting him on the show and they\u2019ve even moved in together.<\/p>\n

While S Club\u2019s Jon Lee, 43, is dating<\/a> Jordan Fairhurst after sparks flew on their dates.<\/p>\n

Tara says: \u201cI would say Jon has a very positive result from this journey, a very positive result.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, Jon is one of the kindest people, the nicest celebrities I’ve ever met.<\/p>\n

\u201cI was doing a talk a couple weeks ago at Flackstock, the music festival, and Jon actually came with a mysterious guy that you’ll see on the show, but he was actually there to listen to the talk<\/span>, it was really sweet.<\/p>\n

\u201cI know that Kerry’s [Katona] situation already came out so you see that, you also see Jon’s situation, you’ll see Mark’s situation, you’ll there’s there’s a lot of happy endings.\u201d<\/p>\n

Going even further, Tara adds: “I think it’s the most successful year so far.”<\/p>\n
