So, they took action and started producing shows themselves under the name Six String Concerts.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The volunteer-run nonprofit organization&#8217;s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sixstring.org\/archives\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:inaugural 1988-89 season;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">inaugural 1988-89 season<\/a> included rising stars and veteran performers, local talent and such widely known touring acoustic artists as Livingston Taylor and <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.dispatch.com\/story\/entertainment\/music\/2013\/01\/10\/singer-songwriter-patty-larkin-i\/23802368007\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Patty Larkin;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Patty Larkin<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Six String will showcase a diverse range of acoustic singer-songwriters during its 2025-26 season, set in the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/news\/articles\/columbus-building-diverse-animation-industry-100047562.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Columbus College of Art &amp; Design;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">Columbus College of Art &amp; Design<\/a> (CCAD)\u00a0Joseph V.
