Strictly<\/a> Come Dancing fans think they may have already ‘worked out’ who Kai Widdrington’s celebrity partner will be this year, after missing out in the competition last year.<\/p>\n

The professional dancer is currently preparing for his return to the ballroom, having been confirmed in the dance show’s pro line-up for 2025 earlier this year.<\/p>\n

As fans will know, Kai, who joined Strictly back in 2021, wasn’t given a celebrity partner, much to the upset of fans of the BBC<\/a> One dance contest.<\/p>\n

He was, however, still very much been part of Strictly’s 20th-anniversary series, partaking in the group numbers and performing during the musical acts who appear during the weekly results shows.<\/p>\n

Kai was also spotted supporting his fellow Strictly stars in the ‘Claudatorium’ each Saturday night with the show’s co-host Claudia Winkleman.<\/p>\n

But after missing out on a celebrity partner during the hit dance show’s 20th anniversary series, the dancer took part in the Strictly Come Dancing<\/a> Live 2025 tour where he was seen back doing what he does best alongside Gladiator Montell Douglas.<\/p>\n

Now, with weeks to go until the Strictly 2025 launch, which is expected to be pre-recorded then aired on September 20, some fans think they have spotted who Kai could be parterned with, bringing him back into the competition this year.<\/p>\n

Vicky Pattison, who is among the 15 celebrities set to take part <\/a>in the show this year, took to Instagram earlier this week where she described her recent ‘whirlwind’ <\/a>as she prepares to make her Strictly<\/a> debut.<\/p>\n

Alongside a string of pictures shared to Instagram, in which she could be filming back in the North East for her VTs that will introduce her onto the show, as well as keeping up with her other working commitments, Vicky said: “Some recent @bbcstrictly bits…<\/p>\n

“I came straight back from holiday and dived straight into the strictly deep end… I’ve had fittings, filming and even been strictlyfied (defos not a word) by their fab hair and makeup team! It’s been a proper whirlwind but super exciting too! Absolute pleasure to film back in the north east as well with the lovely VT team.”<\/p>\n

She added: “I just can’t wait to find out who my partner is now and get cracking!!! Arghhhhh! Who do you guys think I’ll be paired up with? Whoever it is… I hope they’ve got the patience of a saint.”<\/p>\n

And fans were quick to suggest Kai as her professional partner, saying it is ‘meant to be’. @oj_amam said: “Love you to be with with Kai.”@georginashinebandgeek commented: “I\u2019m properly rooting for you and @kaiwidd to be paired, I feel like you\u2019d compliment each other and he\u2019s got Geordie blood it\u2019s meant to be.”<\/p>\n

@nicolataylor82 wrote: “Can\u2019t wait to see you on the strictly dance floor. My money is on Kai for your partner, he\u2019s great height for you, and a geordie link with his dad. Best of luck whoever you get, we\u2019ll be cheering for you.” @natalie_zara_brown posted: “I hoping it\u2019s you & @kaiwidd.” @davidwales23 added: “You and Mr @kaiwidd would be a fantastic dance couple.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
