The hottest actors over age 50 were named on Thursday.<\/p>\n

The power list is the Hottest Actors Over 50 from AARP’s Movies for Grownups<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The names were released by Sam Champion on Good Morning America and there are several good choices apart from the obvious ones: Brad Pitt<\/a> and George Clooney<\/a>, though Jennifer Lopez<\/a>‘s ex-husband Ben Affleck<\/a> surprisingly did not make the cut.<\/p>\n

The list features actors in their 50s, 60s and 70s whose ‘enduring appeal transcends generations,’ the publication stated.<\/p>\n

Each of these 25 men excels at his craft\u2014among them, they have amassed 215 Oscar, Golden Globe<\/a> and Emmy<\/a> nominations and 35 wins.\u00a0<\/p>\n

‘They also exude the kind of magnetism, vibrancy, heart and soul that amounts to that rare, intangible superpower: star quality,’ AARP noted.<\/p>\n
