Eva LaRue<\/strong><\/a><\/span> will never forget the fear she felt when a stalker was trying to get in contact with her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe letters were so horrifying,\u201d LaRue, 58, shared in Us Weekly<\/i>\u2019s exclusive sneak peek of the Tuesday, September 2, episode of the \u201cSoapy\u201d podcast<\/span><\/a>. \u201cThey were all about how he was going to kidnap me and my daughter, hold us as sex slaves, try to impregnate me and then rape and chop up my daughter. \u2026 It was all about chopping us up and hiding the stuff and keeping us as slaves. It was insane. This went on for 12 years.\u201d<\/p>\n

At the time, the actress \u2014 who shares daughter Kaya, 23, with ex-husband Joe Cappuccio<\/strong> \u2014 had been working on the CSI<\/i> franchise.<\/p>\n

While her character was solving crimes every episode, LaRue said authorities were struggling to find the individual responsible for the letters that could span up to six pages.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tGeneral Hospital\u2019s Eva LaRue broke her silence about her exit \u2014 and shared how fan backlash contributed to her departure. LaRue, 58, confirmed on Monday, June 30, that she was leaving the show after playing Natalia Ramirez on the long-running soap opera. \u201cI was originally only supposed to be on the show for a couple [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI was playing a DNA specialist on CSI<\/i>,\u201d LaRue told podcast hosts Rebecca Budig<\/strong> and Greg Rikaart<\/strong>. \u201cWe were solving every crime in 43 minutes, and in real life, the FBI could not identify this person for 12 years because we didn\u2019t have the technology that we were pretending like we had on the show.\u201d<\/p>\n

To this day, LaRue is grateful that she listened to Sarah Michelle Gellar<\/strong>, who once advised her to buy a house in an LLC to keep a home address more private.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe goes, \u2018It\u2019s a lot easier to buy it in an LLC than to move overnight,\u2019\u201d LaRue recalled. \u201cMy name was not attached to the house, so that\u2019s why the letters started going to my manager. He didn\u2019t have our exact address.\u201d<\/p>\n

Later on in the podcast episode, which will be available in full on Tuesday, LaRue recalled the moment her stalker found out where her daughter went to high school.<\/p>\n

One afternoon, a call came in \u2014 supposedly from Kaya\u2019s dad \u2014 claiming he was going to pick her up from school. The only problem was Kaya was driving herself to school at the time, and her father lived hours away.<\/p>\n

Once LaRue learned about the call, she sprang into action by picking up Kaya from school and staying in a hotel room. The actress also alerted authorities.<\/p>\n

\u201cI had the same FBI agents for 12 years that were on my case,\u201d she said before the call. \u201cThey tell me, \u2018Your main FBI agent just got a promotion a couple of weeks ago and now you have two new FBI agents and they\u2019ll call you tomorrow.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
