Here\u2019s what the producers have to say!<\/p>\n<p>The music competition show premiered on Apple TV+ on Friday, August 29, and showcases the best of Western pop and K-pop in a series of sensational artist showdowns. Originally created to celebrate the global phenomenon that K-pop has become, <em>KPOPPED<\/em> features a star-studded lineup, including acts like Boyz II Men, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usmagazine.com\/celebrities\/megan-thee-stallion\/\"><strong>Megan Thee Stallion<\/strong><\/a> and ATEEZ.<\/p>\n<p><em>Us Weekly<\/em> sat down with producers <strong>Moira Ross<\/strong> and <strong>Jake Hong<\/strong> to see if a second season might be in the works, and what the new season might look like.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve got a few little hopes for next season,\u201d Ross exclusively shared with <em>Us<\/em> when asked about what stars might be featured on season 2. \u201cI think we\u2019ve got a long, long wish list for sure.\u201d Though she wouldn\u2019t give any spoilers, it\u2019s clear she already has some ideas up her sleeve!<\/p>\n<p>The show\u2019s first season boasts some of Korea\u2019s best talent, including artists like ITZY, Kep1er and STAYC. These acts face off against some of the music industry\u2019s best, both old and new, including <strong>J Balvin<\/strong>, TLC and <strong>Patti LaBelle<\/strong>. Apple TV+ surprised viewers by renewing Bad Monkey after the ending left the show\u2019s future unclear. Based on the novel of the same name by Carl Hiaasen, Bad Monkey follows former police detective Andrew [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI think that outside of the voting, whether or not that is a big part of the show, because it\u2019s a celebration \u2026 we understand that maybe viewers would like to be part of that experience. So that\u2019s a consideration that we would look into,\u201d Ross told <em>Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think one main thing is maybe if we could have the public voting element. If we can figure it out, that\u2019d be amazing,\u201d Hong told <em>Us<\/em>.
