Former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe<\/strong><\/a> is grateful for her loved ones\u2019 tireless support amid her stepfather Rob<\/strong>\u2019s cancer battle.<\/p>\n

\u201cTrying to not cry as much on social media anymore, but I\u2019m on my third flight home to Nashville, crying into my pretzels at all the love,\u201d Bristowe, 40, wrote via her Instagram Stories on Saturday, August 30. \u201cThank you so much. I\u2019m showing my mom and Rob so many messages and hope goes so far!!\u201d<\/p>\n

Bristowe revealed several hours earlier that Rob, who is married to her mom, Leslie<\/strong>, was diagnosed with \u201cincurable stage IV cancer.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cAbout 8 months ago, I asked everyone to pray for my stepdad, Rob. I didn\u2019t say why, but he was diagnosed with cancer and he was going into surgery to get it removed,\u201d she captioned a lengthy Instagram post. \u201cYour prayers worked and they had gotten it all. He then went back for a follow-up scan, and it has moved into his stomach \ud83d\ude2d<\/span> He is now battling an incurable stage 4 cancer.\u00a0 We are all devastated.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFormer Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe celebrated her milestone 40th birthday with the release of her third music single. \u201cI wrote a ballad. Have you ever been lonely in love? It\u2019s a really sad, hard, heartbreaking feeling,\u201d Bristowe wrote via Instagram on Thursday, June 19, sharing the single\u2019s artwork, which featured Bristowe sitting naked in a bathtub [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

She continued, \u201cI do believe he will beat the time line given because he\u2019s a stubborn strong warrior<\/a> with a passion for life. But I really do believe in the power of prayer, the power of manifestation and the power of love. So, please send it all his way. He means the world to me and our blended family.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bristowe further revealed that she recently traveled to Canada to spend a \u201cfew days\u201d with her relatives.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was really special to spend the last few days playing cards, eating home-cooked meals, and just telling each other how much we cherish our families relationship,\u201d she concluded. \u201cTime is so precious.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bristowe captioned her upload, \u201cPrayers please,\u201d which she received many of<\/a> in the comments section.<\/p>\n
