David Potts, a regular on This Morning and winner of Celebrity Big Brother<\/a>, has expressed his reservations about joining the cast of I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!<\/p>\n

Despite frequently travelling across the country to present competition segments on the ITV<\/a> daytime show, David is unsure about making the journey Down Under.<\/p>\n

Having previously appeared on Celebs Go Dating, Celebs on the Farm, Celebrity Ghost Trip, The Big Celebrity Detox and Celebrity Karaoke Club, David believes he would be the “worst person ever” to enter the Australian jungle.<\/p>\n

Speaking at WhichBingo’s Celebrity Party<\/a>, David, who hails from Bolton<\/a>, pondered: “I always think would I want to go into the jungle?”.<\/p>\n

“I’d be horrendous. Everyone always says I should do it but honestly I’d probably be the worst person they’ve ever had in there.”, reports the Mirror<\/a>.<\/p>\n

“I’m scared of everything. I don’t even like rice. I’d be like ‘are you able to chuck us a jacket potato down?’.”<\/p>\n

The line-up for this year’s series of I’m A Celebrity is yet to be confirmed, but Emmerdale<\/a> legend Lisa Riley is rumoured to be joining the camp.<\/p>\n

David, who first gained recognition on ITV Ibiza Weekender in 2016, expressed his desire for the ITV2 series to make a comeback.<\/p>\n

He reflected: “I never thought about doing telly in the first place so to still be doing it 10 years on is so wild.<\/p>\n

“It will be 10 years this September when I went off filming my first series of Ibiza Weekender. It’s all so incredibly insane.<\/p>\n

“I would absolutely love it to come back but don’t know if I’d be able to deal with the hangovers. I’m 32 now and I was 22 when I started it.”<\/p>\n

Looking ahead to what’s next, David teased that viewers might spot him back on television before long.<\/p>\n

He revealed “There’s always chinwags going on. There’s multiple things I’m going to be doing on the telly and I’m in talks about the next series of my podcast but I won’t be solo this time.<\/p>\n

“I can’t say too much but you’ll definitely know who they are and they’re equally as high energy as me, so it’s going to be carnage.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
