Robin Wright<\/strong><\/a> and her boyfriend, Henry Smith<\/strong>, have found a home across the pond.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s liberating to be done,\u201d Wright, 59, told The Times of London<\/i><\/a> in a Saturday, August 30, profile, revealing they are renting a property on the English seaside. \u201cBe done with searching, looking and getting 60 percent of what you wanted.\u201d<\/p>\n

The actress, however, is still navigating certain perplexities about the English, namely a fixture on societal classes.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s very evident when you\u2019re in a room and you feel the judgment or the praise of someone who\u2019s more elevated,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m trying to figure it out. Why are you guys so obsessed with who went to this boarding school or this university? Who gives a s***?\u201d<\/p>\n

Wright and Smith, 52, also brought their two dogs, Rusty and Rocky, with them when they moved<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m seen and loved for who I am,\u201d Wright mused to the outlet. \u201cIt\u2019s so relaxing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wright and Smith, a British-Australian architect, have been together since 2024. They met in a British pub when she asked to feed his dog, Rusty, a piece of her steak.<\/p>\n

\u201c[Another stranger] goes, \u2018No, it\u2019s not my dog, it\u2019s his dog,\u2019\u201d Wright recalled, pointing at Smith. \u201cAnd Henry was standing at the bar, and he put his pint down, came over to me and grabbed my shoulders. He goes, \u2018Who the f*** are you?\u2019 And I said, \u2018Who the f*** are you?\u2019 And that was it.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Wright, Smith was unaware of her acclaimed career in Hollywood and only intrigued by her \u201cNordic goddess beauty.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cHe is a sweetheart and just a good, decent adult,\u201d Wright added. \u201cHe\u2019s a man.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wright said that she and Smith \u201cdid a fast-track getting to know\u201d one another while they were both grappling with long COVID, lingering symptoms from the pandemic-induced illness.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were lying in bed, deathly ill, crying, laughing, hugging, loving, snogging, f***ing,\u201d she said. \u201cJust like, \u2018I want to know you.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

The Girlfriend <\/i>star added, \u201cThat\u2019s exactly what I wanted. I\u2019m turning 60 and I\u2019m, like, \u2018Is this it?\u2019 love being alone and I\u2019ve done that many times. But I\u2019m, like, I want to grow old with somebody, and travel and see the world.\u201d<\/p>\n
