TikTok star Esmeralda Ferrer Garibay<\/strong> and her family were reportedly found dead inside a car in Mexico.<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> reported that authorities found Esmeralda, 32, and husband Roberto Carlos Gil Licea<\/strong>, 36, and kids Gael Santiago, 13, and Regina, 7, dead on August 22. The family\u2019s identity was later shared on Thursday, August 28.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe scene was processed, and investigators found multiple pieces of evidence suggesting the family was killed there<\/a>,\u201d prosecutor Alfonso Guti\u00e9rrez Santill\u00e1n<\/strong> said in a statement to the outlet on Friday, August 29.<\/p>\n

The statement continued, \u201cWhile the forensic results are not yet in, ballistic and blood evidence almost certainly confirm they were murdered at that location.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tInfluencer Valeria M\u00e1rquez, who was shot dead in Mexico during a TikTok livestream, may have reportedly been murdered by a hitman, per prosecutors. Denis Rodr\u00edguez, a spokesperson for the Jalisco State Prosecutor\u2019s Office, told AP News that the 23-year-old influencer\u2019s death was still under investigation. Before M\u00e1rquez was murdered, Rodr\u00edguez claimed that a man posing [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Investigators were allegedly able to track part of the vehicle\u2019s route, leading them to a mechanic\u2019s workshop. While two men at the workshop were taken in to give statements, the outlet reported that they were released because of a lack of evidence.<\/p>\n

When the two men left the prosecutor\u2019s office, two others had allegedly been waiting for them. The outlet reported that \u201carmed men intercepted the group\u201d and took three of them, with one escaping. While three of the men are allegedly missing, authorities are searching for the fourth to obtain his statement.<\/p>\n

\u201cInvestigations show the perpetrators had been watching the exit for over two hours,\u201d Prosecutor Blanca Trujillo<\/strong> said in a statement to The Daily Mail<\/em>. \u201cIt wasn\u2019t an immediate attack \u2014 they waited until the group had moved a few metres before carrying out the abduction.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Daily Mail<\/em> reported that the influencer \u2014 who has more than 41,000 followers on TikTok<\/a> \u2014 and her family moved to the metropolitan area of Guadalajara, Mexico, for work months before they were killed. Her husband was allegedly involved in buying and selling cars and tomato farming before his death<\/a>.<\/p>\n
