For example, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/articles\/fallout-already-renewed-season-3-004614688.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Fallout was already renewed for Season 3;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\"><em>Fallout <\/em>was already renewed for Season 3<\/a> before its second season release, with the same thing happening for <em>Maxton Hall.<\/em> Unfortunately, the YA series <em>Motorheads<\/em> was axed after its first season. Despite the bad news, though, an EP is discussing why fans should stay hopeful about the chances of the show returning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\"><em>Motorheads<\/em> almost feels like a mix between the <em>Fast and the Furious<\/em> movies and <em>Cobra Kai<\/em>, in the best possible ways. The show focuses on a group of youngsters who end up bonding of their affection for cars. While some <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/lifestyle\/amazon-prime-subscription-plan-price-134816670.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:Prime Video subscription;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">Prime Video subscription<\/a> holders did tune in, the show&#8217;s demise was confirmed just recently. Even though the ten-episode show won\u2019t return to Prime for new episodes, executive producer Jason Seagraves told <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/08\/motorheads-canceled-amazon-prime-video-shopped-new-home-1236500966\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Deadline;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Deadline<\/a> how proud he still is of his coming-of-age series:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"mb-4 border-l-2 pl-5 italic text-tertiary\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">We set out to make a show with no agenda and a lot of heart, to give families something they can watch together. While Johnny and I are disappointed Motorheads won\u2019t be continuing at Prime Video, we couldn\u2019t be more proud of what the team created.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It\u2019s a shame that Prime Video isn\u2019t giving <em>Motorheads<\/em> another chance. I appreciate that it has the elements of romance, friendship, and sheer drama akin to that of the streaming service\u2019s most popular YA offerings like <em>The Summer I Turned Pretty<\/em> and the <em>Culpa<\/em> movies<em>.<\/em> Plus, the street racing series has a high audience rating of 95% on <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rottentomatoes.com\/tv\/motorheads\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Rotten Tomatoes;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Rotten Tomatoes<\/a> with a positive critics&#8217; score of 78% as well.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">An official reason for <em>Motorheads<\/em>&#8216; cancellation has not been shared by Prime Video. Per Deadline, though, when it comes to viewership, the show received high completion rates, mostly staying in the 40s on Luminate\u2019s Top 50, and it soared to No. 19 during the week of May 23rd. Even now, the series remains among Prime Video\u2019s Top 10 list of trending shows, which is no small feat.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">It&#8217;s interesting to think about what went into the decision to cancel Jason Seagraves&#8217; delightful series. Still, just because Prime Video said \u201cno\u201d to moving forward with the show doesn\u2019t mean any of the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cinemablend.com\/streaming-news\/best-streaming-services-subscribe\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:best streaming services;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">best streaming services<\/a> out there will. Seagraves went on to express his optimism that a new platform will be found for the show:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"mb-4 border-l-2 pl-5 italic text-tertiary\">\n<div class=\"\">\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Despite going into release with impossibly low audience awareness, our passionate and vocal fan base led the charge and made the series impossible to ignore. Their enthusiasm has energized us and we\u2019re optimistic we\u2019ll find a home that believes in and supports the show.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">I\u2019m loving the optimism here! Of course, it remains to be seen if another streamer will actually pick up <em>Motorheads<\/em>. Network shows such as <em>Manifest<\/em> and <em>Lucifer<\/em> even moved to streamers after their respective cancellations. So I would agree with Jason Seagraves that there&#8217;s at least some reason to feel hopeful within this situation.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Given that <em>Motorheads<\/em> ended with two major cliffhangers in its season finale, I&#8217;m really hoping the series gets picked up by another streamer soon. In the meantime, though, you can find all ten of the existing episodes on Prime Video.
