Lewis Capaldi<\/a> has revealed that several celebrities had lied about checking in on him during his health break.<\/p>\n In 2023, Capaldi was forced to cut his Glastonbury set short after he\u00a0struggled with tics caused by Tourette\u2019s<\/a>. Following the performance, Capaldi\u00a0announced he was planning to take some time off<\/a>\u00a0to focus on his health. The singer said in a statement at the time that he was \u201cstill learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette\u2019s\u201d and that his decision to call off his tour was \u201cthe most difficult decision of my life\u201d.<\/p>\n He finally made his grand return this June, when he surprise-released his comeback single \u2018Survive\u2019<\/a>, and later that day played a surprise set at the Pyramid Stage at Glastonbury<\/a>, completing his performance from two years ago.<\/p>\n During his time away, several musicians said they had checked in on Capaldi, who apart from Tourrette\u2019s, was struggling with mental health issues. Now, Capaldi has revealed that this wasn\u2019t entirely true.<\/p>\n Appearing on the Friday Fry-Up, Capaldi was asked if anyone had checked in with him. He revealed that Elton John<\/a> called him up after Glastonbury 2023 and they agreed that taking a break would be the best move for Capaldi.<\/p>\n\n
