America\u2019s Got Talent<\/a>\u201d is now in the hands of viewers.<\/p>\nAs the quarterfinals continue to air through Sept. 10, \u201cAGT\u201d is featuring 11 acts per episode (44 quarterfinal acts total).<\/p>\n
Each quarterfinal episode will advance three acts to the semifinals, based on voting from viewers.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s a look at the latest three acts that made it to the semifinals, which air Sept. 16 and 17 on NBC.<\/p>\n
\u2018AGT\u2019 2025 semifinals: Who is competing?<\/h3>\n
During quarterfinal episode No. 2, the following three acts made the semifinals: Bay Melnick Virgolino, Leo High School Choir and Unreal.<\/i><\/p>\n
Bay Melnick Virgolino<\/b><\/p>\n
When he was 5, Bay Melnick Virgolino asked his mom if he could take guitar lessons \u2014 a desire that stemmed from a fascination with Guns N\u2019 Roses lead guitarist Slash.<\/p>\n
Five years later, the 10-year-old guitar prodigy from New York City is showing off his musical prowess on \u201cAGT.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bay\u2019s audition for the show had the judges, audience and his parents dancing along as he shredded a solo during his rendition of Lenny Kravitz\u2019s \u201cAre you Gonna Go My Way.\u201d<\/p>\n
The performance, which has more than 3 million views on YouTube, had all of the judges calling the kid a rock star.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think Lenny Kravitz would be so proud of you,\u201d Mel B said.<\/p>\n
For the quarterfinals, Bay got right in the judges\u2019 faces to shred during \u201cI Love Rock \u2018n\u2019 Roll.\u201d<\/p>\n
The crowd\u2019s response was so enthusiastic it nearly drowned out the judges\u2019 feedback.<\/p>\n
While Mel B said Bay\u2019s vocals weren\u2019t as impressive as his guitar skills, her opinion of the performance appeared to be in the minority as all of the other judges praised the young contestant\u2019s act.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou\u2019re so young, but you came out here with this real, real attitude, confidence, stage presence, great song,\u201d Simon Cowell said. \u201cYou absolutely nailed that.\u201d<\/p>\n
Leo High School Choir <\/b><\/p>\n
When 22 singers of the Leo High School Choir took the stage to audition for \u201cAGT,\u201d their music director, LaDonna Hill, was visibly emotional.<\/p>\n
\u201cThese young men are amazing \u2014 they\u2019ve never had music experience,” Hill said of the students from the south side of Chicago. \u201cI take whoever desires to sing. I am extremely proud of them.\u201d<\/p>\n
The choir quickly won over the judges with their passionate performance of The Score\u2019s \u201cBorn For This.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt felt like that was your song, and you were singing it from the heart,\u201d Mel B said.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou guys deserve to be on this stage,\u201d Sofia Vergara added.<\/p>\n
Ahead of their quarterfinal performance, the choir said they\u2019d been practicing all summer for the moment. The work that they put in paid off as they wowed the judges and audience with a rendition of Imagine Dragons\u2019 \u201cBeliever.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cYou guys just lit up this whole entire place,\u201d Mel B said.<\/p>\n
Unreal<\/b><\/p>\n
A number of dance crews have appeared on \u201cAmerica\u2019s Got Talent\u201d over the years, but Unreal stands out for their ability to create illusions through robotic-like movements and body contortions.<\/p>\n
Following their audition \u2014 which has 1.5 million views on YouTube \u2014 the dance crew from India left such an impression that Cowell said he was \u201cslightly speechless.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cIt was so creative, brilliant, scary, and I can tell how much work you have put into this, because this doesn\u2019t happen overnight,\u201d Cowell said, noting that the dancers have been preparing for \u201cAGT\u201d for five years.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve never seen anything like it,\u201d Vergara added, calling it one of the best routines of the season.<\/p>\n
\u201cAGT\u201d judge Howie Mandel took it a step further, giving the dancers a golden buzzer to immediately advance them to the quarterfinals.<\/p>\n
\u201cI think you\u2019re going to take this all the way,\u201d Mandel told the dance crew after hitting the buzzer.<\/p>\n
The judges had even higher praise during the quarterfinals, when the dancers were synchronized to make it look like they were gears in a machine.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat is by far the best dance choreography I have ever seen in the history of \u2018AGT,\u2019\u201c Mandel said. \u201dThat was a million-dollar dance right there. You stepped it up.\u201d<\/p>\n
When does the next episode of \u2018AGT\u2019 air?<\/h3>\n
Round three of the live quarterfinals airs Tuesday on NBC, with the show revealing the next three acts to advance to the semifinals on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
