Monday will be Sunny, with a high near 76,\u00a0 the National Weather Service<\/a> reports.<\/p>\n Here are some events and happenings to help you decide where you\u2019re spending this Warwick weekend:<\/p>\n Farmers Market at Goddard Memorial State Park\u00a0<\/a><\/strong>Support and enjoy local food and farmers! Join our weekly farmers market from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. and get to know the hardworking people who grow your veggies, fruit, flowers, and favorite foods! For the first few weeks, the market mostly offers bedding plants, hanging plants, cut flowers, meat, early vegetable crops, honey, and maple syrup. As traditional local summer crops become available, additional vendors will participate.<\/p>\n \u00a0Roger Williams Food Truck Fridays<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0End your week at Food Truck Friday \u2013 an outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starting at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.<\/p>\n The Carousel campus has a lot of open space and rolling hills shaded by trees, the perfect spot to grab dinner from a food truck and listen to music and entertainment during the park\u2019s Food Truck Fridays event. The outdoor food truck festival at Carousel Village starts at 5 pm. Attendance is free, just pay for what you eat and drink from an ever changing rotation of more than 15 food trucks each week.<\/p>\n Bring Your Own Improv, WCFA<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Bring Your Own Improv is back for family friendly live performances every Friday at 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. Tickets are $11.63. If you\u2019re looking for something fun to do late on a Friday night in Warwick, they\u2019ve got you covered. Their Caffeinated Insomniacs Comedy show \u2013 designed for teens and adults \u2013 is the place to be at 10 p.m. Their show welcomes voluntary audience participation. You can participate in one of three ways: applaud for a scene you like, yell out fantastic suggestions, or if you feel you\u2019re ready, jump up and get involved.<\/p>\n Thayer Arena Public Skate<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0Through August Fridays, Public Skate is open to skaters of all ages. Cost to Skate is $5 \u2013 Children 5 and under are free. Skate Rentals are available at Sandy Lane Sports across the street from the rink.<\/p>\n Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied and supervised by a guardian who is 18 years or older. Children ages 13-17 without an adult staying onsite must be paid for and signed in by an adult that can leave emergency contact information. Only persons wearing skates are permitted on the ice surface. Helmets are strongly recommended for all skaters.<\/p>\n Apple Festival<\/strong><\/a> Come out to the Crowne Plaza outside grounds on Saturday, August 30 from 10:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. for We Be Jammin\u2019 Event\u2019s Apple Festival. Enjoy a festive day filled with the sweet and savory flavors of fall\u2014featuring farm-fresh apples, candy\/caramel\/chocolate apples, apple salsa, jam, apple butter, and more seasonal treats. This family-friendly event will also have music, crafts, and more. Don\u2019t miss this festival fall favorite. We hope to see you there!<\/p>\n Whisky Knights at Drift Bar<\/strong><\/a> Join us at our Drift Bar by the Pool on Saturday, August 30 and enjoy the amazing live music by Whiskey Knights. Show up, have some cocktails, grab a bite from our Drift Food Truck, and party the night away. The band plays from 8:00-11:00 p.m. See you there!<\/p>\n Pups at Par<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>Join us at 150 Gray St., Warwick every Saturday from 12-4 p.m. for Pups at Par. Bring your well-behaved furry friends for a relaxing lunch at our scenic property. Treat yourself to delicious food while your pups explore and unwind in a pet-friendly atmosphere, where they can even enjoy some pup-friendly menu specials.
