Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid<\/strong> is giving his stamp of approval to the newly-engaged<\/a> Travis Kelce<\/strong> and Taylor Swift.<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m happy for them. It\u2019s hard to find somebody that you fall in love with,\u201d the former Philadelphia Eagles coach, 67, told the media via a virtual press conference<\/a> on Friday, August 29. \u201cThat\u2019s not an easy thing, to really fall in love, and it seems like they\u2019re there. I think it\u2019s a great deal for both of them.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThey like being around each other. That\u2019s a plus, I think. They\u2019re both busy people in their own right,\u201d he continued. \u201cBoth are very famous in their own right. It\u2019s kinda neat that they come together and handle themselves the way they do.\u201d<\/p>\n This isn\u2019t the first time the legendary football coach has chimed in on the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 35, and the 35-year-old pop star\u2019s relationship. In a September 2023 press conference, Reid joked that he set the couple up, but clarified his remarks on The Five Spot with Donovan McNabb<\/a><\/em> in October 2023.<\/p>\n \u201cI knew her from Philadelphia. You know, her dad is a big NFL fan,\u201d Reid explained. \u201cI had met her when she was real young and her dad, and, so you know, I joked about setting Kelce up. But, you know, but I\u2019m just saying.\u201d<\/p>\n Swift and Kelce also recently discussed Reid<\/a> on The New Heights<\/a><\/em> podcast earlier this month.
