American Pickers<\/a><\/em> star Mike Wolfe<\/a><\/strong> showed off his hidden “talent” as a ventriloquist in a behind-the-scenes video, and fans can’t stop cracking up.<\/p>\n On Monday, Sept. 1, the History Channel<\/a> star, 61, took to Instagram<\/a> with a clip of himself serving as the voice of one of the show’s crew members.<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfac\u00a0<\/strong>SIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\ud83c\udfac<\/strong><\/p>\n “Made the mistake of telling my crew on @americanpickers<\/a> that I wanted to be a ventriloquist when I was in 4th grade,” Wolfe captioned his update. “So I had to prove my skills! Gotta get me a new ventriloquist dummy though! Love you Herschel \u26a1\ufe0f\ud83d\ude4f.”<\/p>\n In the video, Wolfe stood behind a crew member as he attempted to provide his voice while minimally moving his own lips.<\/p>\n ‘”Let’s see…I need to stop laughing,” Wolfe said before cracking himself up. “I don’t know if I can do it. I haven’t done it since 4th grade.” After a producer off-screen encouraged him, insisting it was “just like riding a bike,” the history fanatic started again.<\/p>\n Wolfe began by making his “dummy” laugh, before having him say, “Hi, my name is Herschel. If you’re happy and you know it, cap your hands,” to which the crew member clapped twice.<\/p>\n The clip ended with the men bursting out into laughter\u2014as did many of Wolfe’s fans in the comments.<\/p>\n One fan of the show declared, “I love you, Mike \ud83d\udc99.”<\/p>\n Another wrote, “\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02\ud83d\ude02 Perfect!!!\ud83d\udc4f\ud83d\udc4f.”<\/p>\n Someone else shared, “Omg that was hilarious \ud83d\ude02.”<\/p>\n A different Instagram follower commented, “lol!!!Hershel is the best!!.”<\/p>\n Meanwhile, yet another fan echoed, “Omg that was hilarious \ud83d\ude02.”<\/p>\n Speaking of hidden talents, Wolfe’s American Pickers<\/em> co-star, Danielle Colby<\/a><\/strong>, is a burlesque dancer who performs under the stage name Dannie Diesel<\/a> when she’s not shooting the History Channel series. In June, Colby opened a museum dedicated to the history of stripping<\/a>, the Ecdysiast Arts Museum, in Davenport, Iowa.<\/p>\n Wolfe revealed major career news of his own this year, too, including a new History Channel show<\/a>, a\u00a0new movie<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0closing of his Antique Archaeology store<\/a>\u00a0in Nashville. He also opened a rental property called Two Lanes Guesthouse in Le Claire, Iowa.
