The couple filmed the video after clearing the checkpoint, and the ground beef was still in tow, suggesting TSA officers let him carry it through once it was screened.<\/p>\n According to the TSA, bringing packaged meat on board is technically allowed. The agency\u2019s website states that meat \u2014 cooked, fresh, or frozen \u2014 can pass through airport security in carry-on luggage. However, there are rules if the food is kept cool with ice packs. TSA specifies that any ice or gel packs must be completely frozen when they go through security.
