Snoop Dogg, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., previously said he was \u201cscared to go to the movies\u201d after seeing a same-sex couple with a baby in the film \u201cLightyear,\u201d which he was watching with his grandson.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cMy grandson, in the middle of the movie, is like, \u2018Papa Snoop? How she have a baby with a woman? She a woman,\u2019\u201d he said during an appearance on the \u201cIt\u2019s Giving\u201d podcast<\/a> in August. \u201cI didn\u2019t come in for this shit \u2015 I just came to watch the goddamn movie.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201c\u2018They just said she and she had a baby. They both women. How did she have a baby?\u2019\u201d the rapper continued as he imitated his grandson. \u201cI\u2019m like, scared to go to the movies. Y\u2019all throwing me in the middle of shit that I don\u2019t have an answer for.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A person that appeared to be Snoop Dogg seemingly addressed his remarks<\/a> concerning the LGBTQ+ community in a comment on an Instagram post from the Hollywood Unlocked account. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI was just caught off guard and had no answer for my grandsons,\u201d the rapper reportedly wrote. \u201cAll my gay friends [know] what\u2019s up they been calling me with love.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cMy bad for not knowing the answers for a 6 yr old,\u201d the comment said. \u201cTeach me how to learn I\u2019m not perfect.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The Hollywood Reporter said in an article published Sunday that a rep for Snoop Dogg described the comments as \u201cfake\u201d and that they were not written by the rapper<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Sources close to the rapper also told Deadline<\/a> that the comments, which appeared to be made by Snoop\u2019s verified Instagram account, were not written by anyone on his team either.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
