Nicki Minaj<\/a> and Sabrina Carpenter<\/a> seem to be teasing a collaboration that they have in the vault.<\/p>\n On Aug. 29, Minaj posted \u201cDon\u2019t Worry I\u2019ll Make You My Worry\u201d from Carpenter\u2019s new album Man\u2019s Best Friend<\/a><\/em> on her Instagram Story, seemingly just showing some love for an artist that has shared equal support for her in the past.<\/p>\n Vogue<\/em>\u2019s Entertainment Director, Sergio Kletnoy, reposted Minaj\u2019s post, writing to them, “My girls\u2026 [Nicki Minaj and Sabrina Carpenter], collab?\u201d<\/p>\n COMPLEX SHOP:<\/b> Shop the brands you love, anytime and anywhere. Uncover what’s next. Buy. Collect. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n Carpenter\u2019s response sent both fan bases tingling with anticipation. \u201cLove affair\u201d she wrote, alongside a few heart emojis. Minaj herself followed up with “Don’t worry, [Sergio],\u201d along with a salute emoji.<\/p>\n Minaj and Carpenter\u2019s collaboration makes a ton of sense considering how friendly and supportive they\u2019ve been recently. Last August, Carpenter posted \u201cThis one\u2019s for Nicki\u201d on X, referencing Minaj\u2019s 2018 battle with Travis Scott on the charts after the latter sold multiple versions of his LP to hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200.<\/p>\n Minaj caught wind of Carpenter\u2019s shoutout and responded by giving her some love too. \u201cShout out Sabrina Carpenter, shout out all the Sabrina Carpenter fans,\u201d said Minaj during an Instagram Live.<\/p>\n In an interview with Vogue Italia<\/em> earlier this year, Minaj named Carpenter as one of her favorite newer artists. \u201cA superstar is a superstar, and if you are one, you\u2019ll find a way to shine \u2014 with or without social media,\u201d said Minaj. \u201cI didn\u2019t know she\u2019d been around that long when I started listening to her. A breath of fresh air.\u201dIn other Carpenter news, the singer revealed how her parents felt<\/a> about the controversial cover of her Man\u2019s Best Friend <\/em>album. Speaking to Gayle King of CBS Mornings<\/em>, the singer revealed that it \u201cwasn\u2019t even a conversation\u201d among her family and friends, that they \u201cloved\u201d the photo when they saw it.<\/p>\n \u201cY\u2019all need to get out more, I think,\u201d said Carpenter. \u201cI was actually shocked because between me, my friends, family, and the people I always share my music and art with first, it just wasn\u2019t even a conversation.
