Graham Greene, the Oscar-nominated actor from Dances with Wolves<\/em>, has died. He was 73.<\/p>\n The actor died Monday in Stratford, Ontario, of natural causes, Graham\u2019s rep told The Hollywood Reporter. <\/em><\/p>\n More from The Hollywood Reporter<\/strong><\/p>\n Born in June 22, 1952 in Ohsweken, on the Six Nations Reserve and a graduate of the Centre for Indigenous Theatre Program in 1974, the Canadian actor made his small screen debut in the 1979 Canadian drama series The Great Detective <\/em>and film debut in Running Brave <\/em>(1983). However it was his role as Kicking Bird in the 1990 film Dances with Wolves<\/em> that earned him a best supporting actor Oscar nomination. Out of its 12 nominations, Dances with Wolves<\/em> won seven, including one for best picture.<\/p>\n The film launched Graham\u2019s career to new heights, with the actor\u2019s career being comprised of performances in over 200 film and television productions, as well as starring roles at the Stratford Festival.<\/p>\n Graham\u2019s other best-known roles include Maverick<\/em>\u00a0(1994), Die Hard with a Vengeance<\/em>\u00a0(1995),\u00a0The Green Mile<\/em>\u00a0(1999), The Twilight Saga: New Moon\u00a0<\/em>(2009) and Aaron Sorkin\u2019s\u00a0Molly\u2019s Game\u00a0<\/em>(2017).<\/p>\n He also starred in Thunderheart<\/em>\u00a0(1992) opposite Val Kilmer,\u00a0Transamerica<\/em>\u00a0(2005),\u00a0Wind River<\/em>\u00a0(2017) and on the FX series Reservation Dogs<\/em>.<\/p>\n Most recently, Graham starred in the Tyler Sheridan series\u00a01883<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Tulsa King.<\/em><\/p>\n Throughout his career, Graham received numerous accolades including several Gemini\u2019s, a Grammy and was the recipient of the Earle Grey Lifetime Achievement Award.
