That seemingly impossible feat seems to be a walk in the park for Taylor Swift, whose upcoming album \u2018The Life of a Showgirl<\/strong><\/a>\u2019 has already smashed a Spotify<\/strong><\/a> record \u2013 a little over a month before its release. <\/p>\n The pop superstar is due to release her 12th studio album on 3 October, following on from the record-breaking Eras Tour<\/strong><\/a> and last year\u2019s \u2018The Tortured Poets Department<\/strong><\/a>\u2019. <\/p>\n Swift shared the news of her highly anticipated album last month during her appearance on the New Heights podcast<\/strong><\/a>, co-hosted by her now-fianc\u00e9, Travis Kelce. <\/p>\n Now, Spotify has announced that \u2018The Life of a Showgirl\u2019 has already broken a record: \u201cOn August 31st, 2025, Taylor Swift\u2019s \u2018The Life of a\u00a0Showgirl\u2019 became the most pre-saved album Countdown Page in Spotify history.\u201d<\/p>\n In case you were wondering, the previous record was held by… drumroll… yep, it\u2019s Taylor Swift, for \u2018The Tortured Poets Department\u2019 last year.
