Jacob Elordi appeared to clash with a Venice Film Festival official at the world premiere of Frankenstein.<\/p>\n
The 28-year-old actor, was filmed on Saturday (30.08.25) in a clip later shared on TikTok, which showed him speaking with a man described by the fan as a bodyguard before greeting attendees \u2013\u00a0and telling him: \u201cDon\u2019t ever tell me what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jacob told the official, before posing for photos with fans: \u201cI\u2019m going to take a picture right here.\u201d<\/p>\n
After finishing, he turned back to the apparent staff member and added: \u201cDon\u2019t ever tell me what to do.\u201d<\/p>\n
Despite the tense moment, the fan who posted the footage described Jacob as friendly, saying he \u201cwas so nice\u201d and \u201ctook photos with everyone he can.\u201d<\/p>\n
They added: \u201cHe is so sexy and nice.\u201d<\/p>\n
Jacob, known for his roles in Saltburn and Euphoria, was attending his first public event since splitting from Olivia Jade Giannulli, 25.<\/p>\n
He wore a black suit with a bow tie and shoes to the screening at the Sala Grande Theater.<\/p>\n
The screening of Guillermo del Toro\u2019s Frankenstein \u2013 a $120 million Netflix production \u2013\u00a0drew a 13-minute standing ovation, reported Variety.<\/p>\n
People noted Jacob was \u201cmoved to tears\u201d at the response as he hugged del Toro and co-star Mia Goth, 31, who plays Elizabeth Lavenza in the film, before bowing his head toward the audience.<\/p>\n
During the ovation, Guillermo, 60, embraced Jacob.<\/p>\n
Christoph Waltz, 68, also stars in the film, playing arms merchant Harlander in the adaptation, while Felix Kammerer, 29, portrays William Frankenstein.<\/p>\n
The retelling of Mary Shelley\u2019s 1818 gothic horror follows the brilliant scientist Victor Frankenstein, played by Oscar Isaac, 46, as he creates a living creature that ultimately leads to tragedy.<\/p>\n
Saturday\u2019s premiere also drew Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jessica Williams, Jesse Williams and Sofia Carson.<\/p>\n
On the red carpet, Jacob and Oscar stopped for selfies and autographs with fans. Inside the venue, an audience member shouted: \u201cWe love you, Jacob!\u201d \u2013\u00a0to which the actor replied: \u201cLove you too!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
