Young Thug has been the topic of conversation <\/a>for almost the last week after his interrogation<\/a> and phone calls from jail were leaked online. Among the many people he discussed, two major conversations centered around him buying fake streams<\/a> for Gunna and his belief that Gucci Mane<\/a> turned \u201csoft\u201d after getting out of jail.<\/p>\n In one phone call, King Slime discussed how Wunna was allegedly seeking a $20 million deal, which Thug was willing to provide because of their relationship. \u201cHe demanded he want 20 million. So I told him, like, \u2018Whatever you want, I\u2019m going to give it to you, the money, whatever you want,’\u201d he said. \u201cJust on some we [brothers] sh*t.\u201d However, he also believed that nobody else would be willing to pay the \u201cFukumean\u201d rapper that kind of money.<\/p>\n \u201cLike, I know you can\u2019t go nowhere in this world and get no $20 million check from no label,\u201d he added. \u201cYou\u2019re not doing numbers like that. You all right, but you ain\u2019t doing it like that. Like, the number one album you just had right now, I paid for you to have the number one album. You didn\u2019t honestly earn a number one album over The Weeknd, my boy. I paid for that sh*t. Never said anything to him. I never told him that [\u2026] I spent 50 extra grand [\u2026] buying streams for you.\u201d<\/p>\n Gunna surprised the world in January 2022 when his third studio album, DS4EVER<\/em><\/a>, beat out The Weeknd\u2019s Dawn FM<\/a><\/em> for the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200. At the time, it was a sign that Thug and YSL had a real star on the horizon. However, now his achievement is mired in controversy, on top of their seemingly strained relationship<\/a> due to the YSL RICO case <\/a>and the belief that the Atlanta rapper snitched on his mentor<\/a>.<\/p>\n The \u201cMoney On Money<\/a>\u201d rapper has also been at odds with Quality Control CEO Pierre \u201cP\u201d Thomas. In another leaked phone call, he discussed P\u2019s previous snitching allegations and how Guwop handled him. \u201cP used to be signed to Gucci Mane,\u201d Thug said, revealing that P wanted to be a rapper at one point.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen Gucci Mane found out that sh*t, he dropped the ni**a. \u2018Cause P used to try to rap. Guwop ended up going to jail. I guess he just goddamn turned soft, started fu**ing with that ni**a.\u201d This is unexpected energy, given the fact that Thugger happily joined Gucci on \u201cGuwop Home\u201d in 2016 after the latter was released from jail. The Atlanta legend returned that energy in 2022, calling for Thug to be released from jail on \u201cAll Dz Chainz\u201d with Lil Baby.<\/p>\n Thug also discussed Migos, Drake, and Metro Boomin on these jail calls, but none of those rap stars have responded to the comments about them yet.
