Miguel has finally announced his long-awaited fifth album, Caos<\/em>, with the LP set to arrive Oct. 23 \u2014 also the musician\u2019s 40th birthday \u2014 via ByStorm Entertainment\/RCA Records.<\/p>\n Along with announcing Caos<\/em>, Miguel soft-released the album\u2019s new single and title-track. The song hasn\u2019t been given a wide release just yet, but Miguel has shared snippets on social media<\/a>, and it\u2019s available to hear in full on his own S1C.LA<\/a> website (in exchange for an email address).<\/p>\n More from Rolling Stone<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cTo rebuild, I had to destroy myself. That is the core confrontation of Caos<\/em>,\u201d Miguel said in a statement. \u201cThrough my personal evolution, I learned that transformation is violent. Caos<\/em> is the sonic iteration of me bending that violence into something universally felt.\u201d<\/p>\n Miguel has yet to release the full track list for Caos<\/em>, though along with the title-track, the 12-song album will include \u201cAlways Time,\u201d<\/a> which was released last November. It\u2019s unclear whether other loose singles Miguel has shared over the past few years will be included, such as \u201cNumber 9\u201d with Lil Yachty and \u201cGive It to Me,\u201d both released in 2023.<\/p>\n Caos <\/em>is Miguel\u2019s first full-length album in eight years, following 2017\u2019s War & Leisure<\/em><\/a>. He did release a pair of EPs in the intervening years \u2014 2019\u2019s Te Lo Dije<\/em><\/a> and 2021\u2019s Art Dealer Chic 4 <\/a>\u2014 <\/em>and in 2023 his old song \u201cSure Thing\u201d went viral on TikTok and Instagram Reels, becoming a massive hit<\/a> more than 10 years after its original release.<\/p>\n Miguel has also made several feature appearances over the past few years, including 2022\u2019s \u201cDon\u2019t Forget My Love\u201d with Diplo, 2023\u2019s \u201cJeans\u201d with Jessie Reyez, and 2024\u2019s \u201cSaturnine\u201d with Justice<\/a>.
