Austin Butler<\/a> and Zoe Kravitz recently discussed the 1990s with People Magazine<\/a>. Their film, Caught Stealing, is set in that decade, and it made both of them miss certain things. Kravitz was all praises for the time. \u201cEven just being in the apartment [on set] and seeing the Nintendo 64 on top of the TV. We had the GoldenEye , I saw that,\u201d Butler said, adding that he misses not having a cellphone too.<\/p>\n Kravitz added to this, \u201cOr my cell phone was that Nokia brick thing,\u2026You had a big old thing, yeah,\u201d she continued, \u201c[I\u2019m] really nostalgic for that time\u2026Then also the fashion, all that stuff\u2019s so cool. New York City and the grunge. \u2026 It\u2019s a good time.\u201d<\/p>\n But when she was asked what she did not miss from the time, she pointed out shows like Friends. \u201cSuper homophobic jokes on mainstream television. If you watch Friends now, you\u2019re like, \u2018Whoa, that\u2019s\u2026.\u2019 Kravitz said. Butler asked, \u201cWow, even in Friends?\u201d to which Kravitz replied, \u201cOh, so much in Friends. Like, things that aren\u2019t punchlines are punchlines. It\u2019s wild. So maybe that? We can keep that there.\u201d Butler added, \u201cThat\u2019s crazy,\u2026Yeah, keep that in the \u201990s!\u201d<\/p>\n So, it is quite clear that Zoe Kravitz is not impressed with how Friends aged. This has been a recurring criticism of the show. Of course, it belongs to a different era.
