Miley Cyrus<\/a> has decided to think twice before taking any relationship advice from her mother, Tish Cyrus-Purcell. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Speaking to The Cut this week<\/a> as part of a feature on the women in her famous family, Miley Cyrus recalled having to learn the hard way after Cyrus-Purcell passed along a questionable dating tip to her daughter. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Cyrus-Purcell, however, was quick to refute Miley Cyrus\u2019 less-than-positive take. \u201cWell, that was great advice because after so many years, you\u2019re kind of over it and you\u2019re like… in a relationship,\u201d she told the outlet. \u201cAt least you get to look at somebody that\u2019s frigging hot!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n After noting that her current boyfriend, musician Maxx Morando<\/a>, \u201ctreats me really well and respects me,\u201d Miley Cyrus quipped: \u201cI had to find someone who treats me with respect and then Mom never really put that on the top three of her must-haves. Mom was like, \u2018They need to be tall.\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n \u201cMy man\u2019s hot as hell too. But my man also respects me,\u201d she added. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n Cyrus-Purcell shares her five children with country musician Billy Ray Cyrus<\/a>, to whom she was married from 1992 to 2022.
