While we wait for The Vampire Lestat<\/em> in 2026<\/a>, AMC\u2019s Anne Rice Immortal Universe expands to a third series this year with Talamasca: The Secret Order<\/em>, which drops its first six-episode season this fall. The show will cover the exploits of the 1,000-year-old scholarly society that studies the supernatural. Via Entertainment Weekly<\/a><\/em>, we\u2019ve learned that the show will have another crossover with Interview with the Vampire<\/em>, aside from the upcoming appearance from Eric Bogosian.<\/p>\n

In episode four,<\/em> actor Justin Kirk will return as Talamasca agent Raglan James. And that\u2019s a name that hardcore Anne Rice fans should be quite familiar with. Here\u2019s what he had to say about his return:<\/p>\n

I love being Raglan James. I started with the mothership,\u00a0Interview With the Vampire<\/em>, and when I heard that there was going to be a show about the Talamasca \u2014 because that\u2019s where my character comes from and there\u2019s not a book per se about that \u2014 I assumed they\u2019d be calling me at some point. And I\u2019m delighted that they did. He comes in at a moment in the season where we get this shot of adrenaline from his character. Raglan\u2019s always looking out for himself and is a real lone wolf. There is something that our main character, Guy, has been tasked to retrieve, and it just might be that Raglan is on a similar pursuit.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/blockquote>\n
