\u201cIt\u2019s the getting ready, the putting on the dress,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m a \u2018jeans and flip-flops and tank top\u2019 kind of girl.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

While the \u201cFriends\u201d icon said she loves \u201cdressing up,\u201d she said that getting ready for the Met Gala felt like it would be too much of a \u201cmental game.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cLet\u2019s get dressed up, put on a fancy dress, makeup, get your hair all \u2018purdy\u2019 and go sit in a big room with your peers,\u201d she said of all the preparation that has to go into the evening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Aniston told Glamour she understands that \u201ceveryone\u2019s there to celebrate each other and have some fun,\u201d but that the thought of attending the VIP event still makes her \u201cnervous.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
