FAIRBANKS, Alaska (KTVF) – The Last Frontier Sports and Entertainment Network is coming to Interior Alaska, presenting the NHL\u2019s Seattle Kraken. <\/p>\n
Viewers will soon have the opportunity to watch more than sixty Seattle Kraken games for free right from their living rooms on KFXF channel 7.1, according to a recent press release. Seattle\u2019s season home opener against the Anaheim Ducks will air Thursday October 9, 2025.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are extremely excited and honored to serve the Greater Fairbanks area as the home of The Kraken,\u201d said Chris Fry, general manager of Gray Media\u2019s Fairbanks based stations KFXF, KTVF and KXDF. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe are also thrilled to announce the migration of KFXF to a full sports network as part of The Last Frontier Sports and Entertainment Network, Gray Media\u2019s newest broadcast sports network serving the entire state of Alaska.\u201d The broadcasts are part of a partnership between KFXF\u2019s parent company Gray Media, Tegna and The Seattle Kraken. <\/p>\n
KFXF, which has operated as MeTV\/My Network station since November of 2017, will alter its line-up with programming from Gray\u2019s sports programming, My Network and The Seattle Kraken. You will still be able to watch your favorite shows on MeTV without interruption on KFXF channel 7.3.<\/p>\n
Fairbanks based broadcast stations KFXF, KTVF and KXDF, owned and operated by Gray Media, serve local viewers with premier news, sports, and entertainment with translator service in both Delta Junction and Healy. As stewards of the Interior\u2019s Golden Heart, the stations honorably serve the community year-round with support initiatives to include May No Child Go Hungry, Fill The Bus, Coats For Kids and the annual Holiday Toy Drive. <\/p>\n
The anticipated launch of The Last Frontier Sports and Entertainment Network on KFXF is Monday, October 6, 2025. <\/p>\n
