Tom Holland<\/strong>, who will play Telemachus in Christopher Nolan\u2019s The Odyssey<\/strong>, has named the \u201cbest script\u201d he has ever read, and it\u2019s not any of the Marvel movies he has been part of over the years. Notably, Holland portrays Peter Parker \/ Spider-Man<\/strong> in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He debuted in the franchise in Captain America: Civil War and went on to appear in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame, besides being the star of the three solo movies centered around his character.<\/p>\n In a recent interview with Agence France-Presse (via France 24<\/a>), Holland praised Nolan\u2019s upcoming film, The Odyssey. \u201cThe script is the best script I\u2019ve ever read,\u201d the 29-year-old actor said. Holland\u2019s comment comes nearly a month after the movie wrapped production. The actor\u2019s next project, Spider-Man: Brand New Day, has since begun filming.<\/p>\n Holland called Nolan \u201ca real collaborator.\u201d He then elaborated, \u201cHe [Nolan] knows what he wants\u2026 but it is not an environment where you can\u2019t pitch ideas or build characters in certain ways.\u201d<\/p>\n The Odyssey is an adaptation of Homer\u2019s epic poem of the same name. Its logline reads, \u201cOdysseus, the legendary Greek king of Ithaca, embarks on a long and perilous journey home following the Trojan War, chronicling his encounters with mythical beings such as the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens, and the witch-goddess Circe.\u201d<\/p>\n The cast includes Matt Damon as Odysseus, Charlize Theron as Circe, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Lupita Nyong\u2019o, and Robert Pattinson.<\/p>\n Universal Pictures revealed that Nolan\u2019s next movie after the multi-Oscar-winning Oppenheimer (2023) would be The Odyssey in December last year.
