Princess Kate Middleton<\/strong><\/a> has no issue poking fun at husband Prince William<\/strong><\/a>, especially when it comes to his lack of hair.<\/p>\n

Former royal butler Grant Harrold<\/strong> recalled \u201chaving a conversation about getting older\u201d with Kate and William, both now 43, in his upcoming book, The Royal Butler<\/a>: My Remarkable Life of Royal Service<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The trio was sitting in the kitchen at the royal family\u2019s home at Highgrove in Gloucestershire, Harrold recalled in the memoir \u2014 set to be released later this month \u2014 when the discussion of balding came up.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said that surely the worst thing about aging was losing your hair and going bald,\u201d Harrold wrote, according to an excerpt obtained exclusively by Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cKate started sniggering and William gave me a look and said, \u2018Thanks for that.\u2019 It hadn\u2019t occurred to me that, of course, by then he was starting to lose his hair.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harrold noted that there was \u201calways this joke\u201d about not mentioning William\u2019s \u201cbald patch.\u201d However, the Prince of Wales was a good sport.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe always took any comments, intended or otherwise, in good humor,\u201d Harrold added.<\/p>\n

Harrold also spoke about this particular memory in an interview with People<\/em><\/a> published on Tuesday, September 2.<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018From a man\u2019s point of view, the worst is when you start receding, you start going bald,\u2019\u201d Harrold recalled. \u201cKate started sniggering, and I looked over at William and he said, \u2018Thanks, Grant!\u2019 and leaned forward to show his hair.\u201d<\/p>\n

Harrold recalled William getting back at him not long after. The former butler said he got a fake tan that led to some laughs.<\/p>\n

\u201cWilliam said, \u2018What have you done? Has it gone everywhere?\u2019 and being told yes, he repeated, \u2018Everywhere?\u2019 I said it was \u2018everywhere.\u2019 He said, \u2018Can I see it?\u2019\u201d Harrold said. \u201cI had to take my shoes and socks off to show him my toes, which were orange!\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tFormer royal butler Grant Harrold is offering new insight into Prince Harry\u2019s relationship with his sister-in-law, Princess Kate Middleton. \u201cThey involved him,\u201d Harrold, 47, wrote in his upcoming book The Royal Butler: My Remarkable Life of Royal Service, according to an excerpt published by The Telegraph on Monday, August 18. \u201cHe used to go out [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Harrold detailed his seven years working with the royal family in the upcoming memoir. In the People<\/em> interview, the former butler praised working for both William and Prince Harry.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou hear these stories about their mother [Princess Diana<\/strong>] and how she would go in the kitchens and sit on the worktops and have chats,\u201d he said. \u201cWhat was nice about her boys is they were the same.\u201d<\/p>\n
